A trial lawyer and creative problem-solver, Skye represents global corporations, investment funds, and individuals in an array of high-stakes business litigation, with a focus on antitrust, corporate governance, securities, and private equity disputes. Skye also defends individuals and companies in financial crime investigations and enforcement actions, with particular experience in actions involving Sherman Act Section 1, fraud, money laundering, and racketeering allegations.

  • Former partners of an international venture capital fund pursuing claims over a controlling partner’s self-dealing purchase of a portfolio investment.
  • A billion-dollar hedge fund in its successful defense against breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims in Delaware Chancery Court.
  • Eros International in defending against a securities fraud class action alleging hundreds of millions in damages, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit, leading to the dismissal of all claims.
  • A Los Angeles charter school network and certain members of its Board of Directors in a fraud, embezzlement, and criminal conspiracy investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice, leading to no indictment against any client.
  • A leading U.S. automaker in pursuing affirmative recoveries in connection with international price-fixing, bid-rigging, and customer allocation cartels involving nearly 100 auto parts suppliers.
  • An asset management company and its officers in defending against civil and criminal actions arising from allegations of a fraudulent corporate loan scheme at one of Europe’s largest commercial banks.
  • Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc., a global asset manager, against an Ad Hoc Group, an appliance-parts maker, and its private equity sponsor in a six-day trial in the Southern District of Texas Bankruptcy Court in a liability management dispute involving breaches of the relevant credit agreements and rightful control of the appliance-parts maker.
