Samantha’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She has represented a wide variety of clients in high-stakes matters, including mass torts, patents, securities fraud, and investigations before the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Prior to joining Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes, Samantha was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Samantha has represented:

  • Private equity firm Lovell Minnick in a lawsuit presenting significant questions about the liability of private equity firms for acquisitions by their portfolio companies.
  • Individual directors in a high-profile mass tort litigation.
  • A major pharmaceutical company in two large antitrust patent lawsuits.
  • Several private equity firms in SEC investigations.
  • Underwriters to a pharmaceutical company in a complex securities fraud action.
  • Invesco Senior Secured Management, Inc., a global asset manager, against an Ad Hoc Group, an appliance-parts maker, and its private equity sponsor in a six-day trial in the Southern District of Texas Bankruptcy Court in a liability management dispute involving breaches of the relevant credit agreements and rightful control of the appliance-parts maker.
