Glenn Agre partners Skye Tian Gao and Eddie Shapiro have been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 40 & Under List.
Published annually, the list honors the achievements of the nation’s most accomplished litigators 40 years old and under who have worked on high stakes and precedent-setting cases. The list is compiled through a process involving peer and client review, along with examination of individual matters.
A trial lawyer and creative problem-solver, Skye represents clients in an array of high-stakes business litigation, with a focus on market manipulation, antitrust, corporate governance, securities, and private funds disputes. Skye also defends individuals and companies in financial crime investigations, including against allegations of price-fixing, fraud, money laundering, and racketeering. She recently secured a precedent-setting appellate victory on behalf of a cyberfraud victim in a lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase.
Eddie focuses on commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Representing a diverse range of clients, Eddie has litigated complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts concerning breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, and state and federal RICO claims. He recently secured the dismissal of a suit brought by Trace3, LLC against a former employee, culminating in a request from the court for briefing as to a potential award of the former employee’s attorneys’ fees.
