On February 10, 2025, Glenn Agre, along with Sanctuary for Families, secured a five-year order of protection for a pro bono client who had endured years of abuse and harassment.

The evidentiary hearing took place over several months. Judge Tamra Walker of the Queens Family Court ruled in the client’s favor and found the Respondent guilty of multiple offenses, including aggravated harassment (2nd degree), harassment (1st and 2nd degree), menacing (2nd and 3rd degree), coercion (3rd degree), and stalking (3rd and 4th degree).

Associate Cariana Salvatierra represented the client, supported by legal assistant Lisa Balbin, along with supervising attorney Lindsey Song from Sanctuary for Families. After Cariana’s closing, the judge immediately ruled from the bench in favor of the client. The order of protection will ensure that the Respondent stays away from the client and the client’s home and workplace, does not menace, harass, assault, or commit any family offenses against the client, has no communication and no contact through social media with the client, and has no third party contact.
