Esther’s practice focuses on bankruptcy, restructuring, and complex commercial litigation, representing both debtors and creditors in large, complex Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, and bankruptcy litigation disputes.

Prior to joining Glenn Agre, Esther was a restructuring associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Esther has represented:

  • Western Global Airlines, LLC, a contracted air cargo transportation and logistics services company with $515 million in funded debt, in its chapter 11 cases.
  • AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc., the largest movie exhibition company in the U.S. and globally, in its successful out-of-court restructuring, which included capital-raising efforts that yielded over $1.5 billion in liquidity improvements and reduced AMC’s debt load by more than $550 million.
  • Talen Energy Supply, LLC, a North American power generation and infrastructure company, in its chapter 11 cases with approximately $5 billion in funded debt obligations.
  • The Special Master for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware in connection with enforcing judgments worth billions and designing a court-supervised sale plan for shares of PDV Holding, Inc., the parent of CITGO Holding, Inc., one of the largest refiners, transporters, and marketers of motor fuels and other industrial products in the U.S.
  • Digital Realty and Digital CR US REIT and their affiliates in the chapter 11 cases of Cyxtera Technologies, Inc., a global data center colocation and interconnection services provider.
  • American International Group, Inc., as equity holder and largest unsecured creditor owed approximately $37.5 billion, in the chapter 11 case of AIG Financial Products Corp.
  • National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation in the Title III cases of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its instrumentalities.
