Cariana’s practice focuses on delivering strategic and efficient solutions for commercial litigation. She represents a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from global corporations to individual executives. Her casework includes complex issues such as trade secrets disputes and professional malpractice claims.
 
With her strong research and writing skills, she contributes to all phases of litigation – from drafting pleadings and motions to trial preparation and discovery management. Cariana also has an active pro bono practice, including representing a survivor of domestic violence in an order of protection litigation. 

Cariana has represented:

  • A multi-million-dollar corporation in an action to recover over $150 million dollars in damages for negligent legal advice that led to adverse action by the EPA.
  • Former employees of a technology consultancy in the alleged theft of trade secrets and tortious interference of the organization’s business relations.
  • A survivor of domestic violence in an order of protection litigation in Queens Family Court.
