Avelino maintains a broad-based commercial litigation practice, advising clients on issues ranging from white collar-related matters to statutory claims stemming from the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Prior to joining Glenn Agre Bergman & Fuentes, Avelino was a business and tort litigation associate at Jones Day.

  • Fjallraven in contractual disputes arising from non-payment of rent during the COVID-19 lockdown.
  • Robert Brockman in a high-profile criminal case alleging tax fraud.
  • A pharmaceutical company in a trademark infringement matter relating to COVID-19 rapid tests.
  • Sirius XM in connection with several Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases.
  • Experian in connection with several Fair Credit Reporting Act cases.
